Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas SLP license
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in pediatric and school settings preferred
  • Ability to supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Comfortable with school-based caseloads
  • Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic services to diverse pediatric populations
  • Document progress and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication goals
  • Supervise and mentor an SLPA throughout the assignment
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
