Take on a rewarding contract opportunity as an on-site Speech Language Pathologist supporting students from PreK through 5th grade for the 2026-2027 school year at a vibrant elementary campus in the greater San Antonio area. As part of a collaborative team, you'll make a tangible difference for a caseload of 51 students, working with both monolingual and bilingual children in a supportive school setting.
With direct campus access, you'll be immersed in a dynamic environment, engaging with young learners and fellow professionals. The school district welcomes experienced clinicians as well as enthusiastic CFYs, offering district-provided supervision for those starting out.
What You Need to Bring:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology license (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA if completed hours; or eligibility for CFY supervision
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Comfort supporting diverse student behavior and classroom needs
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric speech services, across a K-12 age range
- Excellent time management and documentation abilities
- Reference documentation required for credentialing
In This Role, You Will:
- Provide on-site speech-language therapy for elementary students in grades PreK-5th
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support communication and language success
- Monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to foster student growth
- Participate in team meetings and provide input to support students’ overall educational experience
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all district and state requirements
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week contract position beginning August 12, 2026, through May 26, 2027. Finalists undergo a prescreen interview as part of the selection process.
