Key Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland SLP license (required)
- Experience with K-12 populations, including mild to severe disabilities
- Skills in evaluations, conducting assessments, and participation in IEP meetings
- Background in educational, pediatric, or healthcare speech-language pathology settings
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome—district provides supervision
- Ability to travel between two school sites (itinerant role; paid travel included)
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, communication, and organization skills
Your Role Will Involve:
- Delivering direct therapy services to students across various ages and abilities
- Performing evaluations and contributing to the development of IEPs
- Participating in IEP and team meetings (admin time is provided)
- Documenting student progress and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Utilizing district-provided caseload and workload models (clear caseload caps in place)
- Engaging in ongoing training and access to support from district staff
- Indirect services and admin time included
