This full-time assignment runs from September through June 2027 and serves a diverse K-12 population with mild to severe disabilities. You'll play a pivotal role in student growth, collaborating with dedicated teams and utilizing a caseload model that values both direct intervention and administrative support time.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold active Maryland SLP license (CCC or CFY welcome)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based, pediatric speech-language pathology
- Comfortable working with students K-12 with a range of disability severities
- Familiar with IEP processes and conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Willingness to provide and participate in supervision as needed
- Ability to travel between two school sites (mileage reimbursed)
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to K-12 students
- Conduct and document evaluations, assessments, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and school teams to support student communication needs
- Complete indirect service hours including admin tasks, report writing, and paid team meetings
- Travel itinerantly between assigned schools with paid travel time
- Utilize district-supported IEP software—with dedicated training provided
