Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Salem, New Mexico
Take your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a supportive, vibrant small district located just outside the Salem, NM area. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to provide essential speech and language services to a diverse group of students in Pre-K through 12th grade, across five closely connected schools.
You’ll collaborate with an existing bilingual SLP who manages a caseload of approximately 45 students, while your own caseload focuses on about 42 primarily English-speaking students. The role includes delivering direct speech and language therapy, conducting evaluations, creating and updating progress reports, and working closely with school staff and families to maximize student success. What you’ll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings (strongly preferred)
- Ability to provide therapy and complete evaluations for students across grade levels
- Dedication to individualized, student-centered care
- Eligible for (or able to quickly acquire) New Mexico SLP licensure
- Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills
