Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Arrey, New Mexico

Work directly with a manageable caseload of around 42 students—primarily English-speaking—and collaborate with an experienced, bilingual SLP colleague whose caseload mirrors this size. You’ll be responsible for a broad spectrum of services, including conducting speech and language evaluations, delivering individualized and group therapy, and crafting progress reports to monitor students’ development. Your expertise will also be instrumental during IEP meetings and collaboration with teachers and families to ensure consistent student growth.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school-based setting
- Familiarity with comprehensive service delivery, evaluation, progress monitoring, and IEP documentation
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff
- NM SLP license, or ability to obtain prior to start date

- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Maintain accurate service and evaluation records; complete progress reports in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
