Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Whittier, CA

Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current California SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required
- Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Ability to adapt to various caseloads and age groups
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary and some preschool students, tailored to individualized education plans
- Conduct assessments to determine student needs and measure progress
- Collaborate closely with special education staff, teachers, families, and administrators
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide guidance and resources to teachers and families to support communication goals in the classroom and at home
