Pediatric School-Based SLP | Rincon, New Mexico
A fantastic opportunity awaits a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a full-time contract position supporting students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. In this role, you’ll provide essential speech and language services to a vibrant, close-knit community in a district with just five schools. Working alongside a bilingual SLP who manages a similar caseload, you’ll deliver services and conduct evaluations, contribute to progress reports, and support multidisciplinary teams in enhancing student success. The smaller district size makes it easy to get to know colleagues and students, fostering meaningful relationships and strong professional growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY status accepted
- Eligible for or ability to obtain a New Mexico SLP license
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings
- Knowledge of service delivery, student evaluations, and IEP documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to collaborative practice and inclusive education
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy for PK–12 students
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations
- Maintain accurate records and complete progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
- Manage an all-English-speaking caseload of about 42 students
Imagine yourself working in a supportive environment where your expertise is valued and your contributions directly influence student achievement. Enjoy the satisfaction of guiding students through their communication challenges while building strong school partnerships.
