Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Saint Peters, MO
Inspire growth and foster communication skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students across multiple schools in the Greater St. Peters area for the upcoming academic year. This contract position collaborates with a district renowned for its specialized services, serving 22 sub-districts, providing you with the opportunity to make a significant impact on elementary through K-12 students.
Openings are currently centered in select elementary schools, with the possibility of expansion into additional campuses. Your expertise will be valuable in serving a caseload determined by service minutes, ensuring focused support and individualized care for every student.
What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Missouri SLP License (for CCC) or Provisional License (for CF)
- CCC preferred, but strong CFs considered; district supervision available
- Experience (clinical or practicum) providing speech and language interventions to school-aged children
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across varied school assignments
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Current fingerprints and the ability to pass a drug screening
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech/language therapy to students, primarily at the elementary level
- Assess, develop, and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation per district and legal requirements
- Serve as a resource for students and educators on communication disorders
- Engage with parents, teachers, and support staff to foster student progress
