Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting special education and related services across a large network of sub-districts. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech-language pathology services within elementary settings, with the potential to support K-12 students as additional openings become available. Assignments and exact campus locations will be confirmed prior to placement, with primary opportunities currently in elementary schools.
Key Qualifications:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) considered (supervision provided)
- Active Missouri SLP License (or Provisional SLP License for CFs)
- Prior school-based or pediatric experience strongly desired
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Flexibility to travel between school sites as needed
- Ability to complete required credentialing: fingerprints, drug screening
- Willingness to participate in a pre-screen interview as requested
Position Highlights & Responsibilities:
- Full-time contract (37.5 hours/week), August 24, 2026 – May 28, 2027 (dates subject to final school calendar)
- Direct therapy and evaluation services based on student minutes, not solely headcount (approx. 3200-3400 minutes caseload)
- Service delivery focused primarily at the elementary level, but may include K-12 as future needs emerge
- Collaborate with educators, families, and the district’s multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and implement effective IEPs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress-monitoring for compliance
