School Speech Language Pathologist - Ballwin, MO
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting special education and related services across multiple school districts. Specialists in speech-language pathology are needed for the upcoming academic year, covering elementary and potentially K-12 students, with placements in several sub-districts. This dynamic role will see you contributing directly to improved communication and educational outcomes for students.
What we’re looking for:
- Current SLP license in Missouri (CCC highly preferred, but clinical fellows with provisional MO SLP licenses are encouraged to apply)
- Willingness to undergo required fingerprinting and drug screening prior to assignment
- Flexibility to work in varied school settings, as assignments may change during the contract
- Commitment to full-time hours (37.5/week) for the academic year, starting August 24, 2026, through May 28, 2027 (dates may adjust according to campus needs)
- Ability to work collaboratively with existing district SLP-CCC supervisors if you are a CF in need of guidance
Your impact and responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload determined by service minutes (approx. 3,200–3,400), supporting primarily elementary-age students—with other grade levels possible depending on district needs
- Develop and implement targeted speech-language interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Engage in progress monitoring, documentation, and ongoing communication with families and educators
- Participate in prescreen interviews to ensure suitability—please provide your availability for scheduling between 9-11 a.m. or 2-3 p.m. EST (with some flexibility)
