Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Saint Paul, MN
An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist to support middle school students in the Minneapolis area. This full-time assignment offers immediate start and continues through the end of the school year, working with a diverse population of learners.
Your caseload will span students in both general education and self-contained settings, providing support for a range of communication needs, from mild to more significant challenges. This includes students who are non-verbal and those utilizing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services within a school-based setting
- Address communication needs across a spectrum of ability levels, including AAC users
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure effective interventions and support
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and professional standards
- Participate in IEP development and related meetings as required
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Experience supporting pediatric and middle school-aged populations
- Familiarity with AAC technology and best practices
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
