Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Eden Prairie, MN
Step into a fulfilling role supporting middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Minneapolis area. As part of this assignment, you’ll work with a varied caseload, including students in both general education and self-contained settings. Your expertise will be critical in meeting a range of needs, from providing mild–moderate communication services to supporting students with significant requirements, such as those who are non-verbal or benefit from AAC devices.
Desired Qualifications:
- Possession of SLP licensure/certification (CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year welcome)
- Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP settings preferred
- Competence with AAC devices and related assistive technology a plus
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and consultation skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech/language therapy to students according to IEPs
- Assess and document progress, adjust strategies for optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure student success
- Provide training or guidance for AAC use in the classroom
- Maintain thorough records and complete required reports in a timely manner
