You’ll work in the Minneapolis 55426 area, supporting a diverse middle school population through the end of the school year. With a balance of general education and self-contained classrooms, you’ll develop innovative, individualized strategies for students with a wide variety of communication needs—including those who are non-verbal and use AAC devices.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Active state license for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)
- CCCs or strong CFY candidates considered
- Experience in pediatrics, healthcare, or educational settings preferred
- Familiarity with AAC devices and supporting non-verbal students is a plus
- Collaborative, flexible, and compassionate professional approach
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services to students with mild to significant needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and progress monitoring
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school requirements
