School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Saint Paul, Minnesota
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a full-time contract position near Saint Paul, MN. This role begins at the end of February and is set through early June 2027, offering the chance to make a lasting impact on a diverse school caseload.
In this position, you will work a steady weekday schedule from 8am to 4pm, collaborating with staff and families to develop and implement individualized therapy plans. The assignment covers primarily Early Childhood Special Education and elementary students (K-5), providing variety and meaningful engagement throughout the school year.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active SLP licensure in Minnesota
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to different student needs and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver direct speech/language therapy services to students in ESCE and K-5 populations
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide consultation and support to educators and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and federal guidelines
- Participate in meetings and collaborate with team members to promote student growth
