Skills and Experience Sought:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active State SLP license required
- Completion of the Clinical Fellowship and Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in a school environment, especially with elementary populations, preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Organizational skills to manage and prioritize a caseload across multiple buildings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with communication and speech disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions, as required by district and state standards
- Empower students by fostering development in expressive/receptive language, articulation, fluency, and social communication
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and other required school functions
- Serve as a resource and consultant to teachers and staff on speech-language concerns
This part-time position (0.6 FTE, approximately 23 hours per week) provides a dynamic, supportive environment and the chance to work with dedicated professionals and eager-to-learn students. The assignment will be split between two elementary buildings, with specific caseload details determined prior to the start date in Fall 2026.
