Step into an engaging opportunity supporting K-8 students as a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the vibrant areas near Saint Paul, MN. This contract assignment runs from August 31, 2026, to June 4, 2027, and provides the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners. With a manageable caseload of 40 students and workweeks between 30 and 40 hours over five days, you’ll have the ability to develop supportive relationships and guide students toward measurable progress.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota SLP or SLPA license required
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred (CFs and experienced professionals welcome)
- Ability to work with a diverse K-8 caseload and tailor services to meet individual needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students of all backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services for K-8 students as outlined in their IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech/language concerns and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to ensure carryover and support
- Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain thorough service records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Advocate for students’ needs, promoting inclusion and equitable opportunities
