An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eager to take on a dynamic, contract-based role throughout the 2026/2027 school year near Saint Paul, MN. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) begins by supporting students and staff at a local elementary campus during a maternity leave, with the flexibility to transition into additional assignments as needs arise across multiple sites throughout the year. Providing services where they’re most needed, you’ll make a meaningful impact on student success and continuity of care.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
- Recent experience delivering speech therapy in a school-based setting
- Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
- Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working with diverse school teams and student populations
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students per IEP mandates
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication skills using standardized tools
- Document progress, maintain thorough records, and ensure compliance with district/state requirements
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to develop and monitor treatment goals
- Provide compensatory services and support coverage in various buildings as needed throughout the school year
