Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting appreciated but not required
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address each student’s needs
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support academic and social success
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the student support team
