This contract opportunity spans from now through late May 2027, offering a consistent 37.5-hour workweek with the possibility of contributing at one or two local schools as needs arise. The caseload primarily includes students using AAC devices, with a focus on non-verbal communication support. Qualifications:
- Active Missouri SLP or SLPA license required
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Familiarity with AAC devices and strategies for supporting non-verbal students
- Willingness to adapt to shifting caseloads and locations as district needs evolve
- Successful district fingerprinting (TCN required) and completion of technology paperwork
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary students, supporting their communication and educational goals
- Manage a caseload totaling approximately 3400 service minutes, collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff
- Document student progress and communicate outcomes with key stakeholders
- Travel between up to two assigned schools if needed
- Provide consultations and recommendations for augmentative and alternative communication
- Complete all district- and state-required documentation and credentialing processes
