Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Missouri SLP or SLPA license.
- Experience working in school settings is highly valued.
- Willingness to support students across 1-2 campuses as district needs evolve.
- Strong flexibility and adaptability in dynamic educational environments.
- Comfortable managing a caseload with a total of approximately 3,400 service minutes.
- Familiarity with or interest in supporting students using AAC devices.
- Completion of required fingerprinting, including submission of TCN number.
- Ability to sign and return district technology agreement.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services to elementary students, targeting individualized education plan (IEP) goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student communication outcomes.
- Monitor, track, and document student progress per district guidelines.
- Respond to caseload adjustments as required—flexibility is highly valued.
- Support both verbal and non-verbal students with a variety of evidence-based approaches.
