Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current, active state SLP license required (CFY or CCC accepted)
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with a variety of ages and caseloads; ability to adapt interventions accordingly
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to complete required credentialing including fingerprints and drug screening
- Dedicated, compassionate approach to student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students, collaborating with teachers and staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided
- Engage and communicate proactively with families and educational teams
- Travel minimally between assigned schools within a single area
