School Speech Language Pathologist - Sacramento, California

Ideal Qualifications and Experience:
- Active California SLP credential or licensure required
- Experience in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and special education services
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy for a caseload of 8 students (6 on campus, 2 Home Hospital)
- Conduct regular consultation with 3 Special Day Classes (SDC)
- Complete 40-50 assessments annually, including eligibility evaluations and progress reports
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insight to help shape student outcomes
