Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ speech and language development through a meaningful contract position for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year. As a school-based SLP, you will make a positive difference in the lives of students across either an elementary or blended elementary and high school caseload, with manageable groups of 30–33 students. Enjoy a consistent schedule—working 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday—at up to two school locations (no requirement to travel between schools during the day).
Qualifications:
- Current South Carolina SLP license, or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow
- SC teaching certification (must have prior to start)
- Completion of a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Commitment to supporting the communication needs of a diverse student population
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in kindergarten through 5th grade or across an elementary and high school caseload
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Complete all documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
