Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold (or be eligible for) a valid California Speech-Language Pathology license or credential
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience in a K-12 school environment preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Ability to work independently and part of a collaborative team
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students in grades K-12
- Design and deliver individualized therapy sessions based on student needs
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to the IEP process
- Maintain accurate and timely records of evaluations and progress
- Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Provide education and resources to staff and families
