School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Roseville, California
Step into a pivotal role supporting K-12 students for the 26/27 school year as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist. Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP license and ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or eligible clinical fellowship)
- Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with educators, families, and support staff
- Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for diverse learners across K–12
- Familiarity with data collection, progress monitoring, and documentation requirements in educational settings
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine student needs related to speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop, implement, and periodically review IEPs tailored to each student’s unique strengths and challenges
- Provide therapy sessions individually and in group settings, adjusting interventions based on progress and evolving needs
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and provide input on student progress and intervention strategies
- Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and parents to optimize outcomes and foster a supportive learning environment
- Maintain timely and compliant documentation in accordance with school and state standards
