Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active and valid Louisiana SLP licensure required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Previous experience supporting students in school environments strongly preferred
- Ability to provide services to elementary, middle, and high school populations
- Solid understanding of IEP process and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students grades K-12
- Develop individualized intervention goals and treatment plans in alignment with students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to maximize student success
- Maintain comprehensive and compliant documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and service logs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to student care
- Provide direct and indirect services as required by student needs
