What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA CCC-SLP) or CFY applicants considered
- Previous experience working with K-12 school populations preferred
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility to support students across elementary, middle, and high school settings
What you'll do:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to maximize student success
- Maintain detailed records and progress documentation
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and team meetings as needed
- Educate and provide resources to families and colleagues about communication disorders and strategies
