Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
What You’ll Do:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities utilizing formal and informal evaluation tools
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions individually and in small groups, targeting a variety of speech and language challenges
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
- Document progress and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute your professional expertise to multidisciplinary teams
