A dynamic, full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for the 2026–2027 school year, delivering essential speech and language services to students with diverse needs.
In this contract role, you will work closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students overcome barriers to learning caused by communication disorders. Your expertise will play a key role in providing direct therapy, developing plans, and fostering academic achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students for speech and language needs using standardized tools and clinical observation
- Develop individualized treatment plans and IEPs tailored to each student’s specific communication goals
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions and adjust interventions in response to student progress
- Create and maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and fellow specialists in IEP meetings and team consultations
- Advise staff and caregivers on strategies to reinforce communication skills in the classroom and at home
- Monitor and report ongoing progress, making data-driven recommendations
- Commit to an on-site, in-person service model within a school-based setting
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Georgia SLP license (educator certification as required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; clinical fellows also considered
- School-based or pediatric SLP experience strongly valued
- Strong skills in teamwork, adaptability, and communication
