Step into a rewarding school-based contract role providing essential speech-language services to students for the 2026–2027 academic year. In this in-person, full-time position, you'll play a pivotal part in supporting students with communication disorders that affect their educational performance. Responsibilities include:
- Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations and assessments for students presenting communication needs
- Design, implement, and consistently monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide both direct and consultative therapy services based on student requirements
- Maintain clear and accurate records, including progress reports and documentation for compliance
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Offer professional consultation and tailored recommendations to teachers and families
- Track student outcomes and adapt intervention strategies as progress dictates
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license and/or educator certification as applicable
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred (Clinical Fellows are also invited to apply)
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred; candidates with pediatric experience will be considered
- Outstanding communication, organizational, and collaborative abilities
