As part of this assignment, you’ll work with a dedicated school team to help students flourish by addressing diverse speech and language needs. Assignments range from full-time to part-time, and caseload details will be matched to your background and interests during the interview process. Whether you’re an experienced SLP-CCC or completing your CFY, there’s a place for you to contribute your expertise.
Qualifications:
- Current California SLP license
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA CCC strongly preferred; CFY candidates may be considered
- Previous school-based experience beneficial, but not required
- Strong collaborative and communication skills for working within multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver both direct and indirect speech-language services to students
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized IEP goals and treatment strategies
- Participate actively in IEP meetings; work closely with educators and families
- Keep accurate progress notes and documentation
- Support students with a variety of communication profiles
