Speech Language Pathologist in Robstown, TX
Step into an impactful role supporting students and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants across the Southeast Texas Coast region. This contract opportunity spans from early August 2026 through late May 2027 and offers the potential to make a lasting difference within a school-based setting.
This position is primarily on-site, with a strong preference for those able to work in person, though exceptionally qualified virtual applicants may also be considered. The role involves providing expert supervision for district SLPAs, as well as carrying out standard SLP responsibilities tailored to the needs of a dynamic, diverse caseload covering various age groups. Assignment to specific school sites will be discussed upon placement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active and current Texas SLP license required
- Completion of Texas fingerprinting and credentialing (or willingness to expedite the process)
- Familiarity with Frontline/E-Sped Platform strongly preferred
- Prior experience supervising SLPAs in a school or clinical environment a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practice in educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support district SLPAs to ensure compliance and promote best practices
- Develop and implement therapy plans for assigned caseloads
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to enhance student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
- Uphold all state and district regulations pertaining to school-based therapy
