School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Robstown, Texas

Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a vibrant educational setting along the Southeast Texas Coast, where you will play an important role supporting student success. This full-time contract position seeks a dedicated professional to provide high-quality speech and language services for school-aged children, while also supervising district SLPAs. While on-site service is preferred, highly qualified virtual candidates will also be considered—please indicate your preferred work format in your application.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and active TX SLP License
- Completion of Texas fingerprint clearance (or willingness to complete promptly if not already cleared)
- Experience in school-based settings and pediatric/child caseloads preferred
- Ability to provide leadership and mentorship to SLPAs
- Eligible to work full-time during the academic year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise district SLPAs, supporting their professional growth and compliance with school policies and clinical best practices
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments, individualized therapy, and collaborative consultation with educators and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow protocols for student progress and compliance
- Attend relevant meetings, including student IEPs and staff professional development sessions
- Adapt services to a diverse caseload across one or more campuses (final assignments TBD)
- Engage with teams virtually or in person, based on assignment preference and student needs
