However, qualified candidates interested in virtual (VOCO) delivery will also be considered.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license required
- Experience in K-12 school environments as an SLP
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise SLPAs
- Must complete Texas fingerprinting for credentialing if not already in the system
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Previous school-based teletherapy experience a plus (for virtual applicants)
- Not available to former district employees at this time
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support district-wide SLPA staff
- Provide comprehensive speech-language services, including assessment, intervention planning, and therapy for students
- Address IEP goals and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary education teams and families
- Flexibly adapt services as needs arise within assigned schools (schools assigned TBD)
Assignment Details:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- School year contract: August 3, 2026 – May 28, 2027
- Anticipated caseload spans PreK through high school
- Interviews commence the week of August 3 following internal coordinator transitions
- Initial timeline updates will follow an executive meeting on July 30
