Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid California SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY-SLP) in progress
- Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to support diverse learners with mild to moderate speech/language needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary school students across a range of abilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to guide individualized intervention plans
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with teachers and families
- Maintain organized and timely documentation in accordance with school and federal requirements
- Collaborate with a supportive team of educators, specialists, and administrators
- Offer consultation and training for teachers and parents to promote communication skills in the classroom and at home
