Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students' speech and language development for the 2026-2027 school year. This role offers the flexibility of full-time hours—up to 40 hours per week—or the option to scale back to part-time, catering to your availability. You'll primarily work with elementary-aged students, with some middle school involvement, on-site across 1-2 schools in a collaborative educational environment.

Ideal candidates bring expertise in school-based speech-language pathology, including evaluation, therapy, and collaboration within multi-disciplinary teams. ASHA CCC-SLP is preferred, but strong candidates seeking their Clinical Fellowship Year are welcomed and encouraged to apply for an exceptional mentorship experience.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • California SLP license (or eligibility in progress)
  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows considered
  • Direct pediatric experience, especially within school settings
  • Proficiency in individual and group therapy, assessment, and goal writing
  • Familiarity with teletherapy is a plus, though this role is in-person
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student growth
  • Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with special education guidelines
  • Offer support and consultation to school staff when needed
