Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist servicing students across three high school campuses near Rillito, AZ. This full-time, full school year, itinerant role offers the chance to make an impact within a diverse student population, primarily based at Mountain View High, with additional responsibilities at Vista and MCAT. With a total caseload of approximately 60-70 students, you’ll provide essential services for individuals with mild to severe disabilities, including articulation needs and those in adaptive cluster programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hold an active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) certification (CCC preferred)
- Eligible Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply; experienced SLPAs are also considered
- Must possess a current, valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Background in school-based SLP services
- Confidence working with a range of disabilities, from mild articulation to Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Comfortable collaborating across multiple campuses
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an itinerant caseload at Mountain View High (approx. 50 students), Vista, and MCAT (approx. 10 students)
- Assess, design, and implement therapy plans to address student needs
- Monitor student progress, documenting outcomes and progress toward goals
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure cohesive support
- Support adaptive programming for students with significant needs
- Adhere to required documentation and compliance reporting standards
