Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license (Virginia or eligible for reciprocity)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Experience with pediatric populations, ideally within early childhood or elementary school settings
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and best practices for supporting students with a range of speech and language needs
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educational staff
- Exceptional communication, time management, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students across grades K–12
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and parents to support each student's academic and social success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to progress reporting and goal setting
- Maintain accurate records and deliver services in compliance with school, district, and state guidelines
