Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required; no SLPA or Clinical Fellows considered)
- Previous work in school-based settings is mandatory
- Flexibility to travel between multiple schools as assigned
- Experience with self-contained classrooms strongly preferred
- Background in early childhood centers is highly advantageous
- Up-to-date licensure details
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a varied caseload of students according to IEPs
- Assess and diagnose communication disorders, documenting findings and maintaining records
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure seamless care and support
- Develop customized intervention plans and monitor student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
- Travel as needed between assigned school locations within the district
