Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist state licensure (CCC required)
- Evidence of prior school-based SLP work—essential for consideration
- Comfort working across elementary or secondary settings, including possible self-contained environments
- Ability to adapt across multiple campus locations
- Prior early childhood center experience is a strong asset
- No educator credential is required for this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to student caseloads within assigned campuses
- Perform assessments, develop IEPs, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain organized and compliant records in line with all state and district guidelines
- Provide support and resources to contribute to the overall success of the special education department
This full-time assignment (35 hours/week, 4–5 days) runs through June 5, 2027, giving you room to build lasting connections with students and colleagues alike.
