Qualifications:
- Current Texas state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required)
- At least one year of previous experience in a school environment is essential
- Strong preference for experience working with self-contained classrooms or early childhood centers
- Ability to work effectively across multiple campus locations
- No educator credential required; however, school-based experience is a must
- Must be able to work onsite (remote/virtual services not considered for this position)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students at elementary or secondary levels (with some roles splitting time between two campuses)
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support students’ communication goals
- Effectively manage a diverse caseload drawn from multiple school settings
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet a wide range of student needs, including in self-contained and early childhood classrooms if needed
