Key Qualifications:
- Active Washington State SLP license with ESA required
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply
- Completion of fingerprint background check via OSPI within the last two years
- Comfortable handling 45+ students per 4 SLPs on average
- Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP services across different grade levels
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students for communication challenges including receptive/expressive language, articulation, voice, fluency, and neuromuscular or non-vocal concerns
- Accurately document assessment outcomes and communicate their impact on educational performance
- Develop individualized treatment plans, contribute to IEPs, and recommend tailored interventions based on student needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, educators, and families to support student success
