School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Puyallup, Washington

This onsite position runs through the end of the school year and offers flexibility for both full-time and part-time availability depending on your needs. Your setting and caseload will be determined after interviews and tailored to your SLP interests, giving you the chance to support elementary, middle, or high school students.
You’ll be part of a collaborative environment focused on evaluating and improving student communication skills, addressing receptive and expressive language, articulation, voice, fluency, and neuromuscular needs. Your clinical expertise will help unlock each student’s potential and directly impact their educational success.
Qualifications:
- Valid WA SLP license with ESA
- Eligible Clinical Fellows (CFYs) encouraged to apply
- Recent fingerprint clearance through OSPI (within past 2 years)
- Completion of a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students for a variety of communication concerns
- Document results and explain the educational implications of communication disorders
- Develop treatment plans and recommend individualized interventions/IEPs
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and administration
- Manage and support a caseload averaging 45+ students
- Attend and participate in school meetings and contribute to student progress discussions
