๐ Position Overview
We are seeking a collaborative and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a high school and post-secondary transition program. This role is part of a highly supportive team environment with a shared caseload model across 7 other SLPs, allowing for strong collaboration, peer support, and balanced workload distribution.
This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with older students, transition-age youth, and functional communication skill development in preparation for post-secondary success.
๐ฏ Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language evaluations, screenings, and assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate closely with a team of 7 other SLPs for shared caseload management
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Support functional communication, vocational readiness, and transition planning goals
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
- Collaborate with teachers, transition coordinators, and support staff
- Support AAC users and alternative communication systems as needed
- Ensure compliance with IDEA and state education regulations
๐ Minimum Qualifications
- Masterโs Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
- Eligibility for school-based certification/endorsement as required by assignment state
- Strong understanding of IDEA, IEP processes, and transition services
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred

- Familiarity with vocational, functional, and life-skills-based communication goals
- Strong collaboration skills in team-based service delivery models
- Experience with AAC systems and assistive technology
- Organized, adaptable, and team-oriented clinician
