π Position Overview
We are seeking multiple passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a high-need school district for the 2026β2027 school year. These roles include a mix of high school, preschool, and early childhood caseloads, along with short-term maternity coverage assignments.
This is an excellent opportunity for both CCC-SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs welcomed) to join a supportive district with varied caseloads and strong collaborative teams.

π― Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language screenings, evaluations, and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Support AAC users and students with a range of communication needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Ensure compliance with IDEA and Tennessee Department of Education requirements
π Tennessee State Requirements
Candidates must meet Tennessee school-based SLP requirements:
- π Masterβs Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- πͺͺ Active Tennessee Speech-Language Pathologist License (or eligibility)
- πͺͺ Active Tennessee Department of Education (DOE) School Services Personnel License β SLP Endorsement
- π§ CF candidates are eligible (CF supervision available depending on assignment)
- π Knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, and special education service delivery
β Preferred Qualifications
- School-based experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities populations
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Comfortable working across preschool through high school settings
- Ability to adapt to varying caseload types (therapy + evaluations + IEPs)
