Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid and current state licensure or eligibility (California)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Experience in school-based settings is highly desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Organizational skills for effective documentation and caseload management
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results and student needs
- Offer direct and consultative speech therapy services to students, individually and in groups
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
