Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Ravenna, OH

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible State Speech-Language Pathology license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year candidates also welcome
- Experience with school-aged children and familiarity with IEPs
- Knowledge of pediatric disorders, assessment, and intervention techniques
- Strong documentation, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and flexibility in adapting to changing needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain thorough records and assist in IEP development and meetings
- Deliver therapy individually and in groups to optimize student outcomes
- Provide guidance on communication strategies within the school community
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state requirements for school-based therapy
