Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Kent, Ohio

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally within a school or healthcare setting
- Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, parents, and support staff
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and best practices for school-based therapy
- Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized assessment tools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and parent conferences
- Maintain accurate and timely progress notes and records to monitor student growth
- Educate and collaborate with teachers and family members to maximize student outcomes
- Adapt services and techniques for both in-person and virtual/remote settings as needed
