Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state license (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered
  • Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience highly valued
  • Proficiency in conducting comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
  • Ability to develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students with diverse needs, ages 3-21
  • Administer standardized assessments and interpret results for eligibility and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and crafting tailored goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and service records in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Stay current with best practices and legal regulations in school-based speech therapy
