Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state license (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered
- Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience highly valued
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Ability to develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students with diverse needs, ages 3-21
- Administer standardized assessments and interpret results for eligibility and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and crafting tailored goals
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and service records in compliance with district and state requirements
- Stay current with best practices and legal regulations in school-based speech therapy
