Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience is highly desirable
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy planning skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional organizational and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for students across grade levels
- Develop and implement targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely student records and progress reports
- Provide consultation and training to educators regarding best practices for supporting speech and language development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and student progress review
- Advocate for students’ needs and facilitate accessible communication across the school setting
